If opposites attract, nothing is more opposite than a tough human soldier and an omega wolf shifter cook.

A human soldier and an omega wolf shifter find out they’re mates in a world where segregation between humans and paranormals is standard operating procedure.

Dylan Kole knows how to do one thing, and that’s to be a soldier in the human army. He doesn’t know how to fit in with a bunch of paranormal beings, and he certainly doesn’t know how to be a mate to Rudy Malone, the only omega wolf shifter on Roguefalls Island. One thing Dylan does have going for him is his ability to follow his instincts.

Review:

Human Instincts by April Kelley is the first book in the Roguefalls series. I’m pleased to say that Ms. Kelley started off the series with a bang. I immediately fell in love with these characters and I can’t wait to see what Ms. Kelley has in store for us next!

One of the strongest things about this book is the world-building Ms. Kelley created. I’ve read many, many shifter books, but Human Instincts had a freshness about it that I found myself quickly getting anxious as to what was going to happen next.

Humans and paranormals have been segregated for many years. Because of this, there is a lot of misunderstandings and things that both Dylan and Rudy must work through. I liked how each man was a strong person in his own right. I also appreciated the heated chemistry they shared between them and how much they genuinely seemed to like and appreciate one another.

The story itself is a quickly told one. It kept this reader’s attention from the first to last page and when I finished it, I couldn’t help but want more. Between the sexy heroes and the intriguing secondary characters, I have a feeling that the Roguefalls series will be one not to be missed.

Highly Recommended!
