Sloane loves a good mystery. He grew up as the son of two psychiatrists, so he finds most people tediously easy to figure out. He finds his way to Pennsylvania State University, longing for a rural experience, and ends up being lured into joining a frat by Micah Springfield, the hippest guy on campus.

Nothing in Sloane’s classes is as intriguing as Hank Springfield, Micah’s brother and fellow frat house member. Hank looks like a tough guy—big muscles, tatts, and a beard—but his eyes are soft and sweet. He acts dumb, but he’s a philosophy major. He’s presumably straight, but then why does Sloane feel such crazy chemistry whenever Hank is around? And why does Hank hate Sloane so much?

When Sloane ends up stuck on campus over Christmas, Micah invites him to spend the holidays at their family farm in Amish country. It’s a chance to experience a true Americana Christmas–and further investigate the mystery that is Hank Springfield. Can Sloane unlock the secrets of this family and unwrap the heart hidden inside the beefcake?

Review:

Unwrapping Hank
by Eli Easton is a sweet and thoughtful romance full of hope and new beginnings.

I love a well written Christmas romance and Unwrapping Hank is a definitely a good one. It was easy to like both Sloane and Hank and watch these two characters really try to get to know each other. At first glance, these two men are polar opposites. Hank is a beefed up, tattooed frat guy who oozes masculinity. But there is something about Hank that pulls at Sloane’s heartstrings. To him, there is more to Hank than meets the eye and Sloane is determined to find out what it is.

I liked how both characters go through a sense of self-growth as the story progressed. I also enjoyed the playful banter they shared between them. I particularly thought that Hank’s parents were amazing and really loved how they spent the holiday together.

When it comes to a feel good, sexy romance Eli Easton is a force to be reckoned with. I truly enjoyed this story and if you are looking for a sweet and sexy romance, then this book is definitely for you.
