Wyatt Parker has a good life—he owns his own construction company, his own house, and he eats home-cooked meals every day. But cooking for one while watching the foodie network is more than lonely. When he learns about an upcoming reality show centered on becoming the personal chef for his favorite rock star, Wyatt leaps at the chance to audition.

Tully Randolph is the drummer for the band Unusual Potatoes. With a chef for a mom, love of good food runs in the family. When he’s asked to host a cooking competition, he’s all in—especially after he meets Wyatt, who is just the kind of big, hairy guy who gets Tully’s juices flowing. With a heart as big as he is, Wyatt wows Tully with his skills in the kitchen… and in the bedroom.

But if their relationship is found out, Wyatt could be drummed out of the competition—and out of Tully’s life. All the ingredients for a happy future are in front of them, and they just need to figure out how to bring everything together.

Wyatt’s Recipes for Wooing Rock Stars by Clancy Nacht and Thursday Euclid is a sexy romp of a romance from start to finish! I love this writing team and I shamelessly admit they are on my automatic buy/read list.

Why do I love their books? I love them because of the splash of humor, the interesting well-written and unique heroes and their stories always have a romantic sexy storyline that I always enjoy.

At first glance, you wouldn’t believe these heroes would belong together. Tully is a famous drummer of the rock band, Unusual Potatoes whereas Wyatt owns a construction company who is a big bear of a man who loves to cook. Sparks fly when they meet, but their attraction is forbidden since Tully is judging a new cooking reality show where the winner will cook for his band for their upcoming tour dates. But, as Tully continues to eat Wyatt’s delicious food and he begins to see the warm and wonderful man Wyatt truly is, he can’t help but be drawn to him.

Since Unusual Potatoes’ first album, Wyatt has been a huge fan of Tully’s band. He’s a little bit star-struck by Tully, but quickly begins to realize that there is more to Tully than a pretty face with a rocking talent. Each time he’s around Tully, Wyatt has to suppress the urge to befriend him, comfort him and take care of him. Inside Tully’s smile, Wyatt quickly sees the loneliness and kindness that the drummer tries to hide but Wyatt is immediately drawn too. When Tully begins to show Wyatt that he is interested, the big man is both surprised and thrilled that he’s captured the rock star’s attention…even if it’s just for the few weeks they are taping the show.

Tully has always been attracted to bigger men. Having just lost his mother, he is lonely and longs for the home-cooked meals his mother so lovingly fixed for him. When he meets Wyatt, for the first time since before his mother’s death does Tully feel loved and appreciated again.

I loved this book! I thought the relationship between the two men was a beautiful thing to watch develop and I quickly became emotionally invested to the both of them. In the end, I believed these men belonged together and I could not wait to see how everything turns out in the end.

Highly Recommended!
