His Christmas Wish by Andi Anderson is a nice, sweet and gentle tale of love.
Young Daniel lost his parents to a fatal car accident about a year before the story begins. He lives with his Uncle Josh who is a nurse and almost never has any time for him and one night Daniel makes a plea to God. He wants a family, he wants to feel the contentment he did while his parents were alive, he wants his Uncle to feel it too. He adores his uncle but doesn’t know how to reach the man to tell him.
Uncle Josh loves his nephew to pieces but he’s doing all he can to provide for and care for his young charge. It’s not enough and he knows this, so he sets out to hire a nanny for Daniel. Josh wants someone there for Daniel all the time and this is how he meets, twenty-two year old Nicholas.
Nicholas has a dream. He wants more than anything to open his own day care center. He loves children and he’s good with them. Due to the economy, the center he was employed by closed down and it forced him to seek employment else where. Becoming a nanny to a child was the next best thing. The minute he meets stunning Josh and young Daniel, he realizes that is where he belongs.
I’m very happy I was able to read this story, even if it is after Christmas already. It keeps the spirit of love, Christmas and hope alive.
