Out of the Cage: Learning from your past makes for a better future.

Cayden Rochette works as a negotiator for the Stone Ridge wolf pack. For decades he has worked behind the scenes with his alpha to secure peace for the pack’s future, which often leads to long stretches away from home. After one such assignment, he discovers a cat shifter staying in his house as his brothers’ guest. One sniff is all it takes to realize the small feline is his mate. Still, the Andean mountain cat is a shy shifter recently rescued from years of torture at the hands of scientists. The cat hasn’t even shifted, yet, even after staying with the wolves for weeks. With a little help from the mate-pull, Cayden earns the cat’s curiosity—if not his trust—enough for him to shift, anyway. That opens up a whole new world of questions. Ajax grew up away from shifters and knows little of their ways. Can Cayden convince the solitary shifter of the benefits of staying with him?

Pint-Sized Protector by Charlie Richards is one of my favorites in the series. I really loved how these two characters really seemed to be drawn to one another and the chemistry between them was smokin’ hot!

Is it possible that as this series continues each book is just getting better and better? I think it is. I love the fast-paced storyline this book has and I totally fell in love with her characters in this story. Ajax in particular, is such an innocent but fierce shifter. There is definitely more to him that meets the eye and I really enjoyed watching him come into a more solid, stronger man because of the guidance of his mate, Cayden.

Cayden on the other hand is so patient with Ajax. I though the sweet, sexy and tender moments between them was very lovely and I enjoyed every scene they had together. These two men were really made for each other and I loved watching them fall in love and come together as a strong mated couple.

If you like paranormal romances with fast paced storyline and interesting, sexy characters this book and the other Wolves of Stone Ridge books are definitely for you!

Highly Recommended!
