Review:

I loved Rent Me by Brina Brady, and I found myself unable to put the book down.

I find that the blurb does not do justice to the deep complexities that are involved in this story of an abused boy who was rescued by a Russian mobster and his brother.

Raised by Dmitri and his brother Mischa, Brennen has been spoiled rotten. He became Dmitri’s lover when he turned 18. So when Dmitri married a women so no one could find out he was gay it sent Brennen on a course of acting out with self destructive behaviors.

There are many twists and turns in this story, sometimes I wished Brennen would leave Dmitri, and other times I was glad they had each other.

There is a fine line between BDSM which is consensual on both parts, and hat I considered just flat out abuse. I found both Dmitri and Mischa crossed the line a few times.

Otherwise, I enjoyed this story and I would gladly read this author again. I know this review sounds conflicted, but that is what the story brought out in me, conflicting emotions.
