Review:

Once you get into this book it’s impossible to put it down. Every time you think you have it figured out, it proves you wrong. In other words it’s the perfect detective book! The characters were very strong and the backstory couldn’t have been better.

Paul has had a very dark past. Having his sister stolen when he was a child was hard enough, but never being able to find her and never knowing what happened to her or if he could have stopped it truly plagues his mind. Once he is disowned and kicked out of his childhood home for being gay, marks his personality forever and makes him who he is today.

Paul is a moderately successful PI with his own company, and hopelessly single. He has dated 2 times in his life and both ended very badly, so for now work is his entire life. When his ex comes knocking with a job, he is unsure what to make of it. But he needs the money and he is good at his job, so he takes the case. He has no idea that this case will change his entire existence. His friends, his family, his view on the world…everything is about to change!
