Twenty year old college student Eric Wesley is looking for love, but instead of choosing Mr. Right, he goes after Mr. Wrong.
Eric Wesley is short and snazzy, hot and happy. Or that’s what he thought. After three years of living on the wild side he’s tired of being a playboy and wants to find love.
Eric, however, has never been in love before and doesn’t see that the guy who’s been gazing at him all summer might be Mr. Right. Alexander Centauri isn’t only style-less and clumsy, but also terribly awkward. After a miserable date, Eric plants Alex on another guy’s lap and goes after Mr. Wrong…who looks so right.
When Eric realizes his mistake, it might be too late.
This is written in Eric’s POV only.
I don’t know if the author intended to make Eric quite so over-sexed, over-confident, and un-sympathetic, but if she did, she more than succeeded for me.
This tale is laced with sexual encounters, some loving, some not, and quite a few threesomes. Some of the threesomes I would consider to be dubious consent at best.
Eric eschews Alex because he considers him boring, going so far as to push Alex into the arms of another man, literally. Although Eric says he’s looking for love, he chooses Rafael, over Alex, because he’s “hot” and “sex-driven”.
Even when it was obvious what was coming, I couldn’t feel sympathy for Eric. I got very frustrated when he couldn’t see what Alex offered, and was still on the verge of going back with Rafael. I was glad to finally see Alex claim what was his.
If you enjoy multiple partners, hot sex, and some very rough encounters with dubious consent, this is for you.
