Experienced sub Alec is back at the Shibari Auction House to sell two more years of his time after his master of ten years turns him in for a “newer model.” Novice Top Benj can’t believe anyone would throw the lovely Alec away or complain that he’s too old and snaps Alec up for twice the asking price.
Could it be both men are looking for more than a sale and some fun, and is it possible they’ll find it together?

Review:

In this second installment of Sean Michael’s Shibari Auction House we meet submissive Alec who has been in service for ten years with the same master and sadly he was released from his contract by the man so he could find a younger man, leaving Alec on his own and back at the auction house hoping there was someone who would want someone as old as he was. Mind you, he’s just twenty-nine, but many of the buyers do prefer younger men to put under contract and train to their taste.

I fell for Alec very quick in the first few pages, just his internal thoughts made me feel for him, and then I met Benj, a new top to the scene who recently came into a fortune from what it appears for he thinks nothing of paying what he did for Alec’s services for the next two years.

Alec only signed up for two years so he’d had just enough money to retire and move to Belize, where he could stay forever and hide from the world. His heart is hurt and broken and who can blame the man? He was more or less just thrown away because he’s getting older. The very fact that Alec is a professional sub means nothing to the master who traded him in for an eighteen year old kid fresh out of high school. Talk about damaging one’s self-image!

So, Alec signs up for two more years hoping it’ll go by quickly and when his services are purchased for a very high amount he’s not only relieved but shocked to see who the buyer is. A younger man, Benj, who is new to the scene, and very good looking to boot, Alec is shocked. But he’s a professional and he knows what to do and how to do it. However, there’s something between the two characters that you can sense right from the start that tells you this is much more than a contracted servitude. Yes, Benj is very young, very smart, he’s all Dom but he’s one with feelings and his feelings get the best of him when he tears up the contract he signs with Alec.

I loved the dynamics between a younger Dom and an older submissive in this story. I love how Alec gives Benj that confidence and how Benj takes care of Alec. They truly are a great team. And as I’ve said before. Sean Michael can write one hell of a D/s book leaving his readers wanting more and rushing to the store to get it.
