Review:

I’m a huge Jade Falconer fan. I’ve read all of Jade’s books and I’ve loved each and every one of them. Not only does this author write some of the hottest sex scenes around, I love Jade’s heroes. They are flawed, likeable men who I always end up adoring. This author also has an easy flow to his writing that I really enjoy and I know once I start reading one of his books, they’ll quickly become a favorite of mine.

Scott’s life is in an uproar. He’s a successful business man who is going through a nasty divorce. Every time he turns around his greedy soon-to-be ex-wife is continuously wanting more money from him and making his life miserable. When he finds out that that she’s been regularly going to see a masseuse, Scott begins to suspect that she’s either having an affair with this ‘Andreas’ or has told some of her secrets to him. Deciding that he needs to do a little investigating, he makes an appointment to see Andreas to see if he can find things out.

What Scott isn’t prepared for is his sudden attraction to Andreas. Scott knows he’s bi-sexual, and although he was married for a number of years, has been faithful to his wife. He quickly realizes that Andreas is gay and that there is no way he and his soon-to-be ex has had an affair, and even though he has a feeling that Andreas knows more about Scott and his relationship with her than he lets on, he can’t help but still be drawn to the pretty and mysterious man. After the first session with Andreas, Scott knows he must see him again, but when Andreas figures out who Scott really is, he makes it no secret that he’d prefer not to see Scott again. Not willing to take no for an answer, Scott is persistent and soon the two men find themselves falling into each other’s arms and hearts. But when Scott’s ex finds out about the budding relationship he has with Andreas, she does whatever she can to break up the fragile bond between the two men. Will she succeed, or will both men realize that the love they have between them is worth fighting for.

I loved this book! I liked both heroes and even though Scott is far from perfect, I couldn’t help rooting for him. His immediate attraction and connection to Andreas really heated up quickly between them and practically steamed up my computer screen. I loved the intensity these two men had together and enjoyed watching them start to build something special between them.

The book is basically told through Scott’s eyes, so Andreas in some ways still remained a mystery to me. I would have liked to have seen what was going on through his mind, but I still enjoyed seeing him through Scott’s adoring eyes. Since there were a few unanswered questions I had about Andreas, this was the reason it wasn’t a five star read for me. But I still loved it and I can’t wait to read more by Jade Falconer in the future. Recommended!
