Blurb:

This second volume of the fast paced pulp yaoi novel, Dojo Boys: Dragon & Crow continues the story of Shotokan student Michael Black’s adventures with the Japanese stranger known to him as Kiyoshi.

Volume Two finds Michael in deep waters when in trying to win back his lover, he is persuaded to participate in an NPA undercover operation.
He finds himself accosted at a nightclub, kidnapped at a casino and fighting Kiyoshi’s Yakuza ex-lover, among a host of other madcap adventures, all to gain the full trust and love of Kiyoshi Kimura.

Review:

This is the continuing story of Michael Black and Kiyoshi Kimura. Kiyoshi has disappeared after seeing Michael kissing his sensei Ichiro, thinking that they are sleeping with each other. When Michael finally finds him again, Kiyoshi’s personality gone and in its place is the vigilante crime fighter Tanaka Yoshiro.

He draws both Michael and Ichiro into his plan to take out a high-ranked Yakuza who has come to the United States to expand his territory with drugs and human trafficking. Through a surprising number of twists and turns, the trio outwit the Yakuza and break their crime ring wide open. After seeing a photograph album that he had left in Michael’s closet, Kiyoshi remembers him and their relationship and the two settle into their life together.

I really enjoyed this second part of Michael and Kiyoshi’s story continuing the multi-faceted journey of these young men struggling to beat their tragic pasts and their complicated present. They finally overcome all the obstacles thrown in their path and take their relationship into the future. Recommended!
