Review:

Jamie, a teenage orphan, learns his true identity when he encounters a demon trying to steal the soul of his dead friend. Thrust into the world, Jamie has to face his fate as a Soul Collector, a mysterious group of people who has to fight demons to save humanity. As he fights and destroys demons he gains the souls the demons ‘eat’ and stores them inside his body to take them to heaven, but at the same time he grows stronger.

Ios, Jamie’s mate, remains in hiding protecting young Jamie from demons. Although Jamie does not know Ios, certain circumstances lead to their reunion eight years later after Jamie finds out he is a Soul Collector at the orphanage.
Losing his Religion was a thrilling story to read. Filled with action, romance, and fantasy it made me picture very clearly the characters and their actions. Some of them were heartwarming, teary eye, and hysterical and this is a book I would highly recommend to anyone interested in fantasy. Filled with action from the beginning, you will be unable to put down the book. Enjoy!
