Review:
Shelton’s Promise is a short read packed with a sweet storyline, angst, doubt, and love. Shelton comes in from work with a special gift for Nevil, his lover of six months, but the poor guy can’t seem to find a moment to give it to him. As soon as he gets in from work, he’s rushed into the shower and taken off to a party a friend of theirs is having. Once they arrive things seem to go from bad to worse, there’s an ex-boyfriend, a crowd of people, and a fast blow-job packed into this party and poor Shelton can’t seem to win for losing. Nevil then sees Shelton’s ex, all over his lover and things get very complicated.
On the way home, tragedy strikes and Nevil is left holding his lover in his arms, not knowing if he’ll ever bring him home again.
Nice powerful read for the amount of pages, a true story of love, and a message of trust all packed within these pages makes this a must read.
